In thermoplastic processing, foaming problems can make life difficult in the production phase. This leaves you in total control when adding volume to your matrix. The closed cell structure of the foam prevents water absorbtion - making Expancel ideal when used in injection molded shoe soles, insulation-type applications and much more.
Our microspheres can be used in applications with process temperatures up to 235°C (455°F). Either as a blowing agent on its own, or combined with physical or chemical blowing agents. It can be found in PVC, TPR, TPU and rubber - across a wide range of thermoplastic applications used all over the word. The advantages it delivers will help you achieve lighter products with higher quality in thermoplastics.
